The friction coefficient tester is specially used to measure the static and kinetic friction coefficients of sliding materials including plastic films and sheets, rubber, paper, paperboard, woven bags, fabrics, metal composite tapes for communication cables and optical cables, conveyor belts, wood, coatings, brake pads, windscreen wipers, shoe materials, tires, etc. By measuring the slipperiness of materials, production quality and process indexes can be controlled and adjusted to meet product application requirements. It can also be used for slipperiness performance test of daily‑chemical products such as cosmetics and eye drops.
