1. Product Introduction
Interlayer bond strength refers to the ability of paperboard to resist inter‑layer separation, reflecting the internal bonding capacity of paper. Fully controllable internal bond strength is critical for processing multi‑ply paper and hard paperboard. Low or uneven‑distributed internal bond value may cause problems when paper and hard paperboard are laid flat on offset presses using sticky ink. Excessively high bond strength will bring processing difficulties and increase enterprise costs. This test is widely applied in printing and packaging industries for multi‑layer paperboards such as linerboard, white paperboard, grey‑board and white card‑board.
